The location connect crew is in Las Vegas for CES. We are providing networking support for our customers including trade show booths and a major press event. We provided managed internet, local networking, backup connection via 4G, and ruckus Wi-Fi access points to provide robust network and internet connectivity. We also supported audio and video conferencing systems as well as provided general client technical support.
CES is an annual trade show organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). Held in January at the Las Vegas Convention Center in LAs Vegas, Nevada, United States, the event typically hosts presentations of new products and technologies in the consumer electronics industry.
This is an example of a typical trade show Network Operations Center and tech support station for a trade show booth. NXP, a major semiconductor company, asked us to provide our superior technical support to ensure their success at a CES. The project included constructing the wired and wireless network, demo networking support, video and audio conferencing, and general client support to the onsite staff and executives. Additionally we provided 10Gbps capable switches for a onsite streaming system.
We provided cellular backup systems to provide connectivity if the main convention center internet connection was interrupted, which unfortunately did occur during the show. The booth demos and meetings were able to continue uninterrupted.
This is an example of our portable show Network Operations Center (NOC) for larger events. It includes high availability firewalls, load balancing & streaming support appliances, network switches, and a wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) controller. This NOC was used at the Showstoppers press event at CES and numerous other events throughout the country.
